Chinese tech giant Xiaomi, in line with its strategy of continuously expanding its product range, is preparing to launch its highly anticipated new smartphone model, the Redmi Note 15 5G, very soon. As the countdown to the device’s launch continues, the latest details have clarified the phone’s technical specifications, particularly its battery capacity.

According to the official announcement, the Redmi Note 15 5G will have a 5,520 mAh battery, a significant increase compared to its predecessor, the Note 14 5G; this represents a 410 mAh increase in capacity.
To maximize the user experience, the company is also supporting 45W wired charging. Xiaomi claims the device will offer up to 1.6 days of usage on a single charge, and the battery health will be long-lasting, not dropping below 80% of its initial capacity for approximately five years of use.
In addition to its powerful battery, the device’s other hardware specifications are also noteworthy. The Redmi Note 15 5G will be equipped with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, aiming to provide users with a vibrant and expansive viewing experience.
The phone’s processing power will come from the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, expected to provide a balance of performance and efficiency. In terms of memory and storage, users will find 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, offering high speed and ample storage space.
Furthermore, leaked specifications reveal that the device’s main rear camera will have a 108-megapixel resolution, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, there will be a 20-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
